U.S. OPEN FANTASY CHALLENGE
Summer is upon us and the time for one
of golf's greatest challenges and the year's second
major is rapidly approaching. The 2005 United States
Open Championship, being played at storied Pinehurst
No. 2, should provide tremendous excitement, great competition,
and eventually, one tried, proven, and deserving champion.
Now, the Franklin Templeton Shootout
would like to get its fans involved in the excitement
of the U.S. Open Championship with a Fantasy Challenge.
Following the tremendous success of The Masters Fantasy
Challenge earlier this year, we again offer you the
opportunity to win some terrific Merrill Lynch
Shootout prizes and merchandise.
Here's how to play:
- Select Five (5) players from this
year's U.S. Open field http://www.usopen.com/players/qualifying/full-exempt.html
- At least one (1) must be a past
champion of the Franklin Templeton Shootout: Fred
Couples, David Duval, Jay Haas, Lee Janzen, and
Davis Love III.
- Once you have selected your Five (5)
Fantasy Team members, please e-mail them to Larson.Segerdahl@gwse.com
- Teams must be received no later
then Wednesday June 15th
- Upon the conclusion of the tournament,
the Fantasy Team earning the most money and having
at least three players make the cut will be declared
the winner. In the event of a tie, a blind draw will
determine the winner.
- One lucky winner will be announced
in the July edition of the Franklin Templeton Shootout
Newsletter and will receive: Titleist Golf Balls,
Franklin Templeton Shootout Merchandise, and Two (2)
Weekly Tickets to the 2005 Franklin Templeton Shootout

A TASTE
OF WCI NOW VALID AT GULF HARBOUR:
Just a reminder that since June 1st A
Taste of WCI coupons have been valid at Gulf Harbour
Golf and Country Club! Be sure to put your vouchers
to use, enjoy some spectacular WCI golf courses and
take advantage of being rewarded with Greg Norman Collection
merchandise through the Frequent Player program.
Gulf Harbour vouchers are valid from
June 1 through Sept. 30, 2005 only. All other vouchers
included in A Taste of WCI will be accepted through
Oct. 31, 2005.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, The
Colony Golf and Bay Club, which was included in the
2004 A Taste of WCI has been closed for the summer
for maintenance. However, The Colony vouchers may be
redeemed at any of the other magnificent courses included
in A Taste of WCI.

2004 SHOOTOUT
VOLUNTEERS:
One last reminder to all 2004 Franklin Templeton Shootout Volunteers: Please be sure to submit
your Volunteer Registration Card by June 17, 2005.
As in past years, we have again been
overwhelmed by the number of returning Volunteers. Currently
we have a return rate of just over 80%. So don't miss
out on the fun and camaraderie, help Greg Norman and
the Franklin Templeton Shootout raise funds for deserving
charities.
