As we continue our 20th Anniversary celebration, please join us as this month we look back at the 2006 event.

2006 - Merrill Lynch became the title sponsor of the Shootout. Jerry Kelly & Rod Pampling defeated Justin Leonard & Scott Verplank on the 1st playoff hole to claim victory! Overshadowing their win was the historic participation of LPGA star Annika Sorenstam, which led to a record breaking year in attendance. Sorenstam partnered with Fred Couples in a field that included Ryder Cup participants Scott Verplank, Chad Campbell, and J.J. Henry, the World Golf Hall of Fame duo of Nick Faldo and Greg Norman and fan favorite John Daly.
