As we continue our 20th Anniversary celebration, please join us as this month we look back at the 2007 event.

2007 - A year of change as the Shark Shootout was moved to a new December date and NBC Sports and the Golf Channel took over as television partners. Woody Austin and Mark Calcavecchia held off Tournament Host Greg Norman and Bubba Watson with a clutch birdie putt on 18 to claim victory. The field competing for a record $2.8 million purse featured four Presidents Cup participants, Masters Champion Zach Johnson, Gator Alums Chris DiMarco and Camilo Villegas, and fan favorites Fred Couples and John Daly. Outside the ropes, childhood cancer survivor Kyle Lograsso was the CureSearch National Childhood Cancer Foundation honoree. The five year old's golf swing and incredible story has attracted national media attention including a spot on HBO's Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel.
