Personal
Took up the game at age 4 when his father, Terry, a single-digit handicapper, gave him a cut-down 3-wood...Older brother Danny is also a professional...Noted for his colorful hairstyles and clothing, most notably the 2004 majors where he wore trousers that featured pink (Masters Tournament), Union Jack (British Open) and United States stars and stripes (PGA Championship) designs. Has developed his own clothing line, which is available at his Web site, ianpoulter.co.uk. His design company designed the uniforms for the Great Britain and Ireland team in the 2008 Curtis Cup.
